I am same man, never had a single good memory from school until i went to college. i was able to do my classes and run home to play my games and study programming. its not even easy communicating with people fk everyone feels like will knife you in the back cant even trust my own shadow

Bullying is a killer, people who were bullied at childhood carrying the scars forever and others, like my son end up ending their lives. Stay away from bullying and help the bullied please!!!!

I was never really bullied but I was teased in school teased ruthlessly. It gave me social dexterity that it's hard for me to overcome to this day.. being told how ugly and Goofy you are, bonehead everything else it's not easy 😞

I was that boy that was born a target…Decades later I carry the mental scars of being bullied. Having very few friends who all turned on me is still so painful to me. I never knew betrayal till then. By the time my sophomore year ih high school ended I had not had a conversation with anyone my age for months .. that carried over till I graduated… during lunch I would hide somewhere to get a few minutes of peace…Every terrible phrase ever invented was said to me..The worst that still resonates in my mind was being told that I should kill myself…Back then people didn’t say things like that. I’d never even thought anything like that….... I actually started crying .. ‘you serve no useful purpose’. ‘No one will miss you’ ‘hell yeah . We’ll have a party’. ‘Hang your self.’ They were kind enough to leave a noose at our house one day with a note ‘good luck’ it said..I see them all in my mind. I remember their names..I’ve seen a couple of them over the years.. Of course they don’t recognize me. They’re married and have children. No matter how awful they were to me I hope and pray they’re children never experience what I did.. My fault for letting that define my life….I should have been stronger..

I got bullied for being autistic for my entire youth and being hyper smart about History when I was 11 years old. These petty people are now dealing with the toughness of growing old while I'm frankly doing well. How the tides have turned.

Thank you for sharing Ben. I'm an outspoken 40 year old Christian conservative woman who teaches in public school. Every year or two there is always a coworker who targets me and bullies me relentlessly. I'm not weak or shy. Confronting doesn't help. The types I deal with are extremely passive aggressive and use gossip and slander to make it hard for me in the workplace
