Are the professional mountain biker's Enduro race bikes basically becoming downhill bikes? I think ews should have maybe 1 or 2 timed climbs, so that riders can toss up between weight and travel for performance climbing and descending.

the definition of max commencal when he placed the first meta on the market in 2005 was : "an enduro bike is a DH bike which is able to climb". 😉 so yes, they are, for our best pleasure! 😎❤🚲

Ive been saying it to my friends for a while. Its just a matter of time before enduro bikes become DH bikes, with dropper posts and wide range cassettes. If all you are timed on is the descents, but you still need to climb to the top, I guarantee someone at some point is just going to take a DH bike, and put a few parts on it to make it climbable.

My 2017 enduro bike would now be a 2021 trail bike, so I can see it happening in time.

EWS should re consider eliminating practice runs, have the races be blind and add more peddaling or time at least 1 climb/liaison!!! to widen the gap between DH and Enduro and will also push the riders to have a more versatile bike/gear setup!

#askGMBNTech I was looking at buying my first dual suspension bike and the one I am looking at has a rockshox lyrik with dual position air (130/160). I was wondering if this is a good or bad thing and if you can convert it to just have the debonair chamber.
