I don't usually comment on YouTube Videos much but just had to chime in here after listening to this perfect rendition of Your Song. Chappell, I'm a 71 year old cis gentleman who discovered you from a Washington Post article in October 2023. On a recent road trip through multiple states, I pretty much had you on Spotify the whole time I was driving. I'm gladdened by your success, and can fully imagine you as a worldwide femininominon. I cry (with deep emotion and delight) every time I hear one of your life altering songs. Your videos are accomplished little movies. (You're a fantastic actress too.) I love the "character" of Chappell Roan and I also love to see (and hear, obviously) just you and your AMAZING voice and musical talents, as here, covering a classic. You'll likely never see this comment, and that's okay. I love reading the positive vibes in comments on your TikToks and you YouTube vids. I can spend hours listening to your ideas and opinions on TikTok. I'm ashamed of myself for not having seen this and the other vids you've been posting online since like seven years ago. I've lived a long time and I've loved good music for a long time. You're more than my latest favorite singer. You're the real thing. Thank you for your determination, your stamina, and of course your earth shattering talent as an artist and a human being!

Truly special cover. Unpretentious and natural so it's really easy to understand why Elton and Bernie were so emotionally moved by the way she borrowed it from them in order to bare her inner self. She's special.
