Never really thought about making one of these but i do what you guys ask lol. Heres my attempt to show how to mod against Steel Path, primers and armor strip are really accessible in the game now and you should use them if you want to maximize your damage!

I actually really liked this. I finally got comfortable with bringing my main into Any steel path mission solo, now I just gotta apply this logic to my weapon mods.

Seems like there are several important factors for damage, and we need a DPS calculator. I usually do it in my head, but I keep stat weapons away from crit weapons. This may be what I needed to push to the next level, tbh.

I've been hearing about the primer weapons, but I sorta stayed away, until now. In steel path, often I can easily get the kills, but they take several seconds. If I just use a primer melee or secondary, I'll bet I can speed this up exponentially. In the past, I've tried making any single weapon strong enough to hold its own. Now, I've switched to using a corrosive heat build on melee, viral radiation on primary, and if I ever have trouble, I simply switch weapons. This (in a basic way) covers most enemy types I'll encounter on any mission, but realizing my primary isn't dealing enough damage is often precarious, risking death from just one more slash proc before I realize I need to switch Now.

With these tips, I think you just saved me so much trouble. Thank you, so much.

Does the headshot DMG multiplier (Including Deadhead) affects the DoT damage (In this case Slash)?
I kind of want to use Deadhead over Merciless for Slash DoT builds but wasn't sure if the headshot DMG multiplier would affect it. Thanks.

so i dont need to build alot of status effects just focus on one if my weapon is more towards status effect procs?
