It doesn't matter which President.  It doesn't matter, which party.  But we need to strengthen America?  America can help other nations, however, America needs to support America.  Other nations need to support themselves and not depend on America to help out everybody else.  We need to help others but we can only help others, from a position of strength. One third world country cannot help out another third world country.  It doesn't work like that.

There was an article a couple of months ago that said it would take years to just replace all the artillery shells and advanced munitions we sent to Ukraine alone. Bullets will be easy compared to making missiles we'd need against China. If we lose any ships or planes, then that will really hurt.

People have been warning about this for years, but nothing was done about, aside from actually shutting down production lines and building factories that sit unused.

Arty rounds take about 48 hours of work to make. That plus our ability to make the components is lacking, compared to yesteryear. The various governments have eroded our ability to sustain ourselves, one of the big signs is our importing almost all the lead used in our small arms ammo.

I am a Director in a manufacturing association. Recently, a DOD representative setup a meeting with several manufacturing industry experts, including my organization, to inquire regarding the state of manufacturing, with the intent being to assess our manufacturing readiness for what they percieve is an inevitable war with China (they claim in 02/27). Despite efforts to explain to the DOD representative that the manufacturing industry has been decimated in the past 20 years, for many verifiable reasons, the DOD representative spoke over the group and refused to acknowledge the facts that were presented. They seemed to think that the manufacturing switch could be flipped immediately to support the war effort, like in WW2, and refused to accept the facts to the contrary. This spoke so strongly as to how disconnected Washington and our government is from the reality of the world. We're doomed with the current status of those who are supposed to protect us. If you look at how much more we spend as a nation than other countries, and what we're getting for our hard earned tax payer dollars, you'll come to realize that we're all being played by an irresponsible, unaccountable military/defense establishment. As citizens, we need to make changes quickly, it is OUR country, and GOD's! May GOD be with us all.
