Hello! My name is Destiny.

Here's a sneak peak of what it's like to work at an Amazon Fulfillment Center as a Picker. It's hard work and definitely not for everyone, but a great job if you are looking for something with good benefits and higher pay than the average entry-level job. Hope you enjoy!

Working at Amazon is a thrill a minute. Everyone gets the one minute late "coaching". When you're new you have to pretend to care, after a few months you just say whatever. Fire me. The trifling management is the worst part of the job. The job is not cool at all in any way, but you get used to it and don't expect it to be. Never get used to poor leadership demotivating you and making it worse.

Looks like inside an Imperial Storehouse! Outsiders are Not Allowed Inside these Premises, so it is a real treat to be able to see how an Amazon warehouse looks like in the inside! Thank You So Much for sharing! 🌍

I recently tried picking. I grew to hate it as I was made to suffer for the incompetence of the stowers. I also once had to deal with a box glued to the pod by orange sticky stuff, something that neither I nor the process assistant had ever seen before

literally don't have this "strict" of management. i have a great manager and i just do my job well and no one ever says anything to me.

I work in Stowe. To many idiots stuffing the bins full or the same asin in one bin. I really feel for the pickers and counters. We're all part of the collective. Party on dudes.

I’m a picker and I WISH this was how it was at my warehouse! I spend the entire 9 1/2 hours walking around getting items off of the non-moving shelves and it’s exhausting 😭

Wow. I’m a Amazon Air PA and the rules are very different and much more laid back here. That’s really interesting how differently a FC operates. Thx for sharing!

About the breaks, they tell us that too. You pick em, and I do ICQA. Since most of us are on the OP's, we have to leave what we're doing 10 minutes ahead of our break to find a spot AND to ensure no one will come by and steal it while on lunch.

Outstanding! I just finished 10 weeks as a picker at Campbellsville SDF1. I was on Camperforce schedule of 4 ten hour shifts, 5:30pm to 4:00pm. I found it extremely challenging, yet addicting as well. I lost 25 pounds. It was old school, no robotics, pushing carts, climbing up stairs for 9 hours per night. I am starting soon at DFW7, we will see if that goes as well. Nice video!!

Did you guys also get the $2 raise that starts october 2nd? I’m 3 weeks in and currently under season position, but they said after 30 days you get a blue badge. I Think i’m going to stay since it’s $2 more plus i work overnight and it’s 60 cents more. Also friday and saturday turn into $1.25 more over night so that isn’t bad. It’s repetitive work, but keeps me paid

I understand it's hard guys but your extra effort is the difference between Bezos buying a 50 million yatch and a 500 million yatch.

At least your location is mostly automated. We have to push carts and load and unload totes

They didn’t when I worked in a center during the pandemic. Plus my last night working at that same facility was a nightmare. I was working at one station and the person next to me had his music playing and his music was loud. It was so loud I couldn’t think straight. Even having those construction ear plugs in my ears didn’t help much. This kept going during the whole night. Never again. After clocking out, I gave them my badge and never went back. And if you’re wondering, it was a night shift.
