From the creators of Ender's Game comes a new sci-fi TV series premiering on BYUtv on October 1, 2017. 400 years after the extinction of the human race, a small group of humans are revived by an alien civilization. The aliens claim they want to restore the human species, but the reborn humans uncover new dangers, hidden agendas and powerful secrets that challenge that claim and threaten to annihilate the human race all over again.

I'm not sure why everyone is hating on this so hard. Of course they borrowed ideas, so has literally every other television show in the history of ever. I think it looks quite good and that it is something the world needs; wholesome family entertainment.

I just loved the show, its very deep and odd one and there is deep sadness in the script that no other sci-fi expressed so far.

Just watched the pilot. Just a decent low budget SciFi show, better than a lot of syfy channel crap that's made. Bit of an Orson Scott Card fan, so I'll give this a chance for now. To the paranoid mormon haters out there, the only thing "Mormon" is the young mother suggested they say a prayer together when they were scared. No Mormon doctrine anywhere. I honestly worry that people with think this is what mormons believe!

It's really stupid but the thing that turns me off any show is if every single actor in it is beautiful. It just says "we hired people for their looks" - it just doesn't feel right. I love a show where the lead actor is gritty and "real"..not a bunch of models. Sure, there can be good looking people in it (I am thinking battlestar galactica which had an awesome mix of genders, races, ages etc) but there needs to be a good cross mix of people who are not 20 somethings who didn't make it as a model, so decided to try acting instead.
