Noel has been on a streak of good long-form interviews lately. Really happy to see him reliving the earlier days in a nostalgic approach with a bit of humor.

Fair play Gibson for not making this interview an exercise in product placement. Sometimes these interviews centre around the brand whos hosting the interview but this is a gem that will be endlessly rewatchable.

Noel explains Oasis and his history so well it plays like a movie in my head.

Thanks for not cutting out the part where he's talking about deciding where to hold the guitar when standing. Literally cackling here. What a legend.

i could listen to Noel all day - i was 18 in 1994 when they released Definitely Maybe. Being that age in the 90's in the U.K was magical. Oasis were everything to me back then. I still listen to their first three albums regularly. Live Forever

You can tell it’s sinking in for Noel now what he’s achieved and the legend status he holds. He wants to offload his story. Brilliant

This is the way to promote a brand: treat your audience with respect by letting the artist speak.

Almost 30 years of following this band as a diehard fan. I’ve seen every major documentary and thought I’ve seen all the major interviews, but this absolutely topped them all.
I’ve never seen him so calm, relaxed, and still so detailed in his recollections for an hour straight. It’s like maybe the interviewer being with Gibson put him in a naturally peaceful state and he was just there to open up. Amazing job, Gibson!

"Your legacy is decided by people who have never met you".

I quite like this more philosophical Noel. Could listen to him talking for hours.

He's literally the reason my entire life is as it is now. Picked up a guitar and pretended to be Noel every morning as a teenager. Left school, into music college, into bands for 20 years and now I'm a professional musician that has paid his house off (and secured my child's inheritance) by strumming Noel's songs, for the most part. I'd love to thank him one day, but I bet he's heard that tale a million times.

As he gets older, Noel's interviews are increasingly open and warmer. He's relaxed here, and more reflective about everything. There's more self-deprecation, along with the usual humour too.

I hope he's around as an artist for a few more decades at least, cause his music can really move you. He's blessed, and doesn't take his craft for granted.

I first saw Oasis in The Tivoli in Buckley, North Wales in the early 90's. My mates were Bouncers and used to get in for free. Just thought it'd be a normal boring night but they blew my mind..! I have been a massive fan ever since.! What a time to be alive...!!
