That's a crazy time for cold, rain and a slight headwind. Decent conditions and a 1m/s tailwind and that's probably 9.68 for Bolt

100m is a very technical race since its really short. you need to perfect everything in the race. this includes reaction time from the gun, explosive drive phase, quick and agressive acceleration and top speed maintenance. only having one aspect wont get you the win

USA sprinters, from Carl Lewis onwards are some of the most ego filled show offs you will see in all of sports...and one Usain Bolt is just the cure for them all. Never have I seen a group of egotistical assholes get humiliated, time and time again by one man. In this race Bolt basically gave Gatlin a head start and climbed over him, so to speak, to the finish line.

Gatlin can easily do (and had done) 9.77

He really Choked during the end of this race a bit 😪

It’s almost as if whenever Bolt passes him he mentally checks out 😅

Notice how Gatlin is the last to raise his chest and torso and does so when he sees Bolt in his rear peripheral vision rise up.

He should have stuck to his guns and kept that forward lean a little longer 💯
