Green Lantern was supposed to start the DCEU, but Warner Bros decided to start over with Man of Steel because this movie was really hated. But considering the negative backlash for Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad, is that really a good excuse to exclude this movie from the DCEU? And so far Amanda Waller is the only character from this movie who has been used in the DCEU, right? Well I think her actor is a dead ringer for Viola Davis that she might as well be the same character from Suicide Squad with the explanation that she left the DEO and now works for Argus (or maybe the DEO is a subsidiary of Argus and she's been promoted). Right now, I would want the Green Lantern Corps script rewritten as a sequel to this movie instead of a reboot and Warner Bros to convince Ryan Reynolds to return to the role.

Much of the cast of this movie went on to far better comic book movies.

Reynolds became Deadpool in two well received movies, Bassett was in 'Black Panther', Sarsgaard in 'The Batman', Waititi directed 'Thor: Ragnarok' and starred in 'The Suicide Squad', and Mark Strong was the villain in 'Shazam'.

Unfortunately for Tim Robbins, *this* is the better comic book movie he starred in, as he starred in 'Howard the Duck'.
