Green Lantern - Wonder-Con Footage

In a universe as vast as it is mysterious, a small but powerful force has existed for centuries. Protectors of peace and justice, they are called the Green Lantern Corps. The tone of the trailer is nothing like the movie. When I saw it first I was so excited but then saw the movie

@mozee93 The first Human Green Lantern was named "Alan Scott".

However "Hal Jordan" & "Jon Stewart" are more widely known and pretty much all of the DC comic movies don't follow the comics so some stuff is rewritten to attract a new crowds.

Don't know why so much criticism about this. I totally liked it and recently saw again in Full HD its a nice movie and loved the story. just a little drop in the middle but all major movies have some sections which have some drops. Movie was totally Nice, Waiting !! Green Lanterns Corps with may be Red lanterns entry

I don't know why people didn't like ryan reynolds or the CGI? Making a green lantern movie looks harder than almost all the other superhero movies before because of "Oa" "GL Suit" "Galaxy". I was happy with the movie haha (:

@mangaway not exactly, the main focus is on the four GL. I would hate to see Jordan die(again) because he is one of my favorite GL. Hal Jordan, at that time possessed by Parallax, did die when he reignited the sun, but was brought back in the comic book Green Lantern: Rebirth.

@JU51N0 Hal Jordan (portrayed by Ryan Reynolds in this movie), is the Silver Age Green Lantern and is the most notable Green Lantern in sector 2814. He was given the power ring and battery (lantern) by a dying alien named Abin Sur, whose spaceship crashed on Earth. He became a founding member of the Justice League of America, along with John Stewart (the black dude), one of the two active-duty Lanterns in Earth's sector of space.

The first Green Lantern from earth was Hal Jordan, the guy you are referring to is John Stewart, he comes later.

Deadpool is interesting "politically incorrect" humor, but I still like Ryan Reynolds as our DCEU Hal Jordan even better. Mark Strong as Sinestro rocks too! Good solid cast. 700+ likes. 📽☕
