Yeah I thought Mo Vaughn's HR was a towering blast... but Big Papi's was launched into orbit!

The pitcher against Papi's homer was flabbergasted

In the early 2000's you could always gauge a guy's power by how baggy his uniform was. Good times 🤣🏌🏿💯

Longest homer I ever saw was the Senators' Frank Howard against Cleveland's Sam McDowell in May of 1968. Howard was on a tear wear he hit 12 homers in a two week span. He hit a ball OVER the left field roof section of Cleveland's Municipal Stadium.
I have no idea how far that ball traveled, but it was incredible.
Like many of Howard's homers, it took only a few seconds to disappear!

As an Angels fan, I still remember Bonds’ homer in Game 2 of the 2002 World Series with Salmon being caught on camera saying it was the furthest ball he had seen hit.

The look on that Japanese pitcher's face was utter hopelessness. Ortiz dug that brutha's grave😂😂

Nice to see Adam Dunn getting some love.

When the Angels got Bo Jackson I was so stoked, every game I went to I just hoped he hit a home run. I think he never hit one at the big A that season but I saw him hit a foul ball out of the stadium.

David Ortiz hit an oversized home run at the Tokyo Dome. On the Japanese bench were future Red Sox teammates Daisuke Matsuzaka and Koji Uehara

It's so cool seeing former players basically turn into little kids when describing their favorite moments. Baseball is so much fun.

I must say, AwakenBeerus’s ability to analyze sports events is truly impressive

Bo is without a doubt the strongest person to ever play baseball.

How about the one Bo hit off of Jack Morris in KC? Another blast for the ages...

I was perhaps Bo’s biggest fan when I was a kid. I collected everything. Still have it all. Love that dude.

Bo jackson was like a combination of Michael Jordan and Mike Tyson.

That Bo bomb was father than 475. The park was HUGE then (410 to center just to the right of where the ball left and deep to the gaps). Did you see where that ball stuck? It landed up at the TOP of that hill and where it left the park the fence was at least 400. That was a 500 ft homer in a park where the ball didn't carry. Amazing.

I've been going to games in Cincinnati since 1979 and although I'm sure Griffey Jr has hit the most that I have seen in person, Adam Dunn has hit the second most and the longest. I saw Dave Parker hit a line drive homer one night and it didn't go really far but, to give an idea of the trajectory of the ball, the 2nd baseman Tom Herr actually started to jump up like he might have a play but the ball cleared the wall at just about the same height as it was going over Herr . It was as if the ball had been fired out of a cannon.
