I was 14 years old in 1973 I hung out with Bob Marley at a place called the Blue Hole in Jamaica. Somehow we started talking about politics He asked me if I was a Republican or a Democrat. I said neither and asked him what he was? He answered "I only know one party and that is freedom. I am a patriot and I love my country because my country is all I have." He had his first release on 8-track and tried to sell it for me for $10. We already had a copy up at the house. He asked me what I thought. I said I don't think it'll sell. He asked me why? I answered "because people want to hear The Rolling Stones." He looked at me and he said "I'm going to do it anyway." I have never been so completely wrong about anything in my life. "I only know one party and that is freedom."

Loved watching the movie “One Love” about Bob Marley’s life. I highly recommend it! he was a peacemaker and his life was cut short due to cancer. He had a beautiful life and such talent and zeal for reggae music! ❤🎤🎶

As far as I know he refused to go to the doctor because he thought it's just a bad infection. When he went to the doctor, the cancer has already spreaded.
