Hi George, i am amazed that the prices in Lidl are so much more expensive than in the UK.
We are no longer in the EU, and get taxed for food goods imported into the Uk from the EU, 20% tax on food products, so this will be incorporated into Lidl's prices in the UK. So, Cyprus beeing in the EU should be alot more cheaper compared to the pound i belive .
I think that when i visit Cyprus, i will look for a good all enclusive deal in a Hotel in Pahpos .

Hi George and Su thank you so much for showing this Vlog it’s very kind of you to do a price update and showing the products and prices we have never had kolokasi before we have been in this Lidl but we go in the other Lidl at Larnaca and we do our big main shop at the supermarket what used to be called Carrefour but we go in Lidl to get some extras and this Vlog is getting us prepared on the prices for when we come back to Cyprus also it’s nearly my birthday on the 26th of April

Most things are definitely a bit cheaper over here guys .Struggling to see any real bargains there ! .Maybe you need to pay a premium for all the beautiful Sunshine !! 🤔😎☀️Definitely rather be shopping over there rather than here anyway 😍.Thanks for taking us shopping ❤

hi george i am an english cypriot, i visit cy 4 times a year lidli i shop every day in uk cy lidl i is 30% more expensive than uk only veggies grown in cy fruit ect cheaper

Asda UK fresh chicken breast is £8.83/kg which is €10.34 @ todays exchange rates. So Cyprus is cheaper than Asda UK . Which is where I shop. Lidl is £6.49/kg which is €7.60 so that's exactly the same price as Cyprus. So I think I'll start shopping in Lidl from now on. Basically it's the same price in UK. On a like for like shop in Lidl. 😊
