There is no better place to test autonomy than in a place where it's almost impossible to crash. That's why farmers and drainage tile installers have had autonomous driving for going on a decade at least... I know we had it on a bunch of our equipment at my old job 5 years ago.

This equipment has been around for decades. We have had GPS enabled tractors since the late 90's. Machine Sync has been around for quite some time too.

Every self driving video will have the the cliched line "Look ma, no hands!" People in their 40's and up really seem to enjoy it. A huge smile takes over the place as soon as they are able to say it.

They've been doing it "for years?" Try decades

It’s good thing they didn’t let her drive cause she said plow even tho her video was about a harvester and she was sitting in the 680

The crop price must get better because most farmers just cant afford this. Farming just is not profitable anymore

The future is well and truly electric. No more crappy arguments from 2011.

Oh John Deere, you just have to have a woman conducting this interview and sitting in the drivers seat. Mindlessly jumping on the politically correct bandwagon just like every other company out there. What percentage of your farmers who buy this equipment are women?

Do you have to kick the tires to start them?
