I built 3 apps with tauri the main thing about tauri is easier to get started just run the create script while for electron you have setup everything or use thirdparty create script
and tauri does give the base feature in plugin so no need to use rust can build everything with js but i hope they make the v2 doc more informative especially the permission thing and for fs i found one issue where the doc says readDir read recursively but i got only the selected folder items so theres still many issues needed to be solved

That's a nice fwk. I'm surprised I've never heard of it before, and the first versions are from end of 2019.
