Cool idea! What about when using delay before the amp? I'm trying to replicate EVH setup on FM3: delay before the amp setup. Seems to be working fine, but when enabling "input boost" in the Preamp section of the amp, using "delay before amp" in the chain results in the amp repeating the distorted delay (or delay repeating the amped sound - whichever is correct way of looking at it). So this makes the delay before the amp way to obvious/over the top. Is there a way to use a similar method (parallel) which would allow to have a "delayed+boosted amp" sound to go through as main signal but delay to only repeat "delayed+amp" (without boosted)? p.s. Promise, I'm not trying to build a time machine... :)

Update: found a workaround, not ideal: using a drive block in parallel with delay before the amp.. not sure if there are better alternatives

Hey Leon. I have asked you in aother post aswell. I'm connecting my ax8 L and R xlrs to my Scarlett 2i2's both inputs. Set Direct monitoring on but I don't get that streo pan effect when I use my delays. Everything comes on center. How can I get that? Cheers, thanks

Hey Leon - I recently downloaded 2 different Metallica presets from Axechange....Preset #1 contains rhythm and lead (scenes 1 & 2) and Preset #2 is just a clean tone (scene 1).

How can I copy Preset #2 to scene 3 of Preset #1?

Hey Leon, I have a question my friend: I have ordered the fm3 to replace my kemper! Let's say I have a lead tone with reverb and delay. With the kemper I am usually recording a dry track (not DI, a normal guitar tone with amp and cab engaged, just without fx), and at the same time a separate track of the delay and reverb alone without the dry signal, so I am recording a dry track and a "fx only track" simultaneously. This way I can adjust the volume of the effects later during mixing or pan them (the fx) etc, but get a dry track at the same time just in case I decide to add outboard fx later...Do you know if this is possible with the fm3 (getting a dry track and an "FX only" track simultaneously)? I can't find the answer in the manual. Thank you very much in advance and keep up the great work!

Very informative! Thank you! Can this be done with external pedals plugged into the FM3’s FX Loop? Or would you just run that normally in the chain, like no parallel routing?

What do you think of the fm3 as a interface

Would it not make more sense to set the pitch shifter to +12 and -12 cents instead of both at +12 to create a more chorusing effect? Thanks
