In this video I set the record straight about the original not mayo. If you were disappointed in the texture of the original video, I think you'll be happy with this one. RECIPE

8 Oz Cream Cheese
8 Oz Sour Cream
1/4 tsp Salt

1) Place all ingredients into a blender or food processor and blend on low for about 2 minutes or until smooth. Store in the refrigerator for about 2 weeks.

Honestly, I don't see why people complain. If they wanted it thicker, just adjust the ratio of ingredients. That's what I would do.

Add a squirt of mustard and lemon and it will taste like Best foods mayo

I just tried it on some chicken salad. it came out great. So much better than that awful tasting avocado oil mayonnaise.

You can use eggs, melted butter, a tiny bit of vinegar and it comes out thicker than mayo. There are many things we can make.

I just made the original yesterday. Both the “not mayo” and the ranch. Both are fantastic! I love them! Now I don’t use it as a spread. I use as a dipping condiment for the ranch and I used the not mayo to make chicken salad. The flavor is knocking me out though! So good.

I made it half and half and it's a little too thick bur easily thinned a little at a time. I also added garlic, dijon, salt and a smidge of red wine vinegar. AND YOWZA....it was fab.

Your original has worked great for me! Sometimes add dill, and sometimes chunks of blue cheese. TYSM!

I wonder how it would taste if instead of cream cheese, you used Marscapone. It's kind of the same consistency as cream cheese, but has a different flavor. Also for those which may be concerned about the few carbs in cream cheese, Marscapone has zero carbs in it. A few carbs that come in various forms of cheese don't bother me, but I know there are those who do worry about that. I can eat Marscapone right out of the package, but not so with cream cheese. I just don't really like the flavor. I bet it would taste good. I think I may just give that a try and find out! Of course, in order to compare the taste, I need to make your version, which I haven't done yet, 😆
Regardless, thanks for sharing all your great recipe's. I've tried a few of them, and loved them all. It's little things like this which make staying the course on carnivore for the long haul so much easier.

Thank you for this recipe! I have never been a fan of mayo and have subbed sour cream in recipes for a long time. Never thought of using cream cheese mixed in but excited to try it!!

Just finished making the thicker updated recipe... and WOW! FANTASTICO!!! Mascarpone-(Italian cream cheese, cleaner ingredients); replaced the cream cheese and it's a huge winner with all who tried it! You are right, the best mayo ever! If you concocted this on your own, you're quite clever! 🙌 🔥

I make Bacon Mayo all the time with eggs, a little Raw Apple Cider Vinegar & Bacon drippings for the oil because everything is better with Bacon, right?
