Here is a MAKE$ or COST$ tool review talking about the Ultimate Dust Deputy Systainer Cyclone Separator Kit. This tool is great but it can ruin the tool that it is supposed to attach to. I love that they made it is it worth the extra money?

I bought a Chinese knock off for $30.00, use a left over 5 gallon pail, free, found a old vac hose, free as well. Works just as good as any I've seen, including festool, which in canada costs $500.00

Good to know... I have considered that setup due to the package deal of vac and dust separating solution.

I don't get it. You didn't show what it broke or why it broke. If you like the cyclone part, then what would you do? Did you make something to attach on top of the CT vac? Review incomplete. I use the ct on my festool track saw on my cutting table. I assume this attachment would save me bags because it puts most of the saw dust in the container?

Aweful logic. There wasn’t any evidence about the base “breaking” the top of a ct vacuum. Specifically; what and why do you say it will break. A high school graduate needs to provide at least one fact about why they make a decision.how much weight is needed to break the top of a 1000 dollar vacuum, is it a suspicion or is it fact kiddo

We have the festool rig, $500 in our cabinet shop.
It works, but do not think its worth the money in a shop.
For jobsite use, it would depend on you.
