Comparison of Dust Deputy and Dust Deputy 2.5 from Oneida Air Systems

Have you seen the cyclone separators on Instagram or YouTube? These units are used to keep the dust from going into your shop vac filter and clogging the system. Do they work? Oh yes, they do for sure. These cyclones from @oneida-air (Oneida Air Systems) allows you to turn your shop vac into a powerful dust collecting machine. In this video we are going to show you a few differences between two of their models - the Dust Deputy, and the Dust Deputy 2.5 Deluxe.

We purchased our original Dust Deputy over 5 years ago. This little unit has been a workhorse for us. We have used it in our garage shop with our lathe, drum sander, table saw, Shaper Origin, and general shop cleaning. Recently when we attended Workbench Conference, we had the opportunity to take advantage of a special promotion at Workbench Conference to get the Dust Deputy 2.5 Deluxe for free. We were really excited to get the upgraded unit - we had been already thinking about upgrading anyway.
