iMessage and WhatsApp eats My local and cloud storage and that’s so annoying. I’m looking for replacement and privacy is not priority. But everyone uses WhatsApp I can’t move away. Like iMessage but lacks many features

What I see is Imessage is outdated (even with all New feature) . Why? Because you only messaaging only on apple device. While whatsapp can reach anyone. It is like if you start with Imessage, you will know that your friend or your other member maybe will not have apple device. So you is limiting your self from the start

Whatsapp is better because if u turn off read receipts then u get punished. U won't see two check marks. With apple u can select certain contacts for read receipts

Whatsapp is less safe in terms of privacy than iMessage. Whatsapp is more popular in Europe therefore more used and iMessage in the US
