What I love about these videos apart from the easy to follow instructions on strumming, is the chords that go together. I’ve been practising my chords and practising my strumming patterns

But this just helps me play and learn. Practice all of it and chord changes while just ‘jamming’

Marty- Thanks so much for all of these beginner acoustic lessons. I always thought guitar playing was a magical skill I would never have access to, but you have broken it down and simplified to the point where you have me playing some simple acoustic songs. Finally had to comment, because in this video, you reminded me to breathe. You might have though you were joking, but turns out the rythm feels much more natural while breathing!

yall getting from whatever chord to c is an absolute nightmare

For people confused about the change, the mix up was simply because You need to change it from D DU D to D D DU for the chord changes, but it still ends up as the same D DU D, but like this. D(g) DU(g) D(d) D(d) DU(d) D(c) D(c) DU(c) D(c) D(c) DU(c) D(g). You can see that it's the same D DU D rhythm, but for each cord the order is D D DU.
