Pompeo inspires absolutely no confidence in his abilities. Does he think that getting through a speech is tantamount to a race. Stumbling and bumbling, just like the so-called commander in chief, while giving a pre-prepared speech is definitely not inspiring. Sabre-rattling does nobody any good. It can only lead to one disastrous outcome. How many times can you threaten war before it becomes inevitable? Iran is a dysfunctional society with widespread corruption and growing resentment for the government's inability to stabilize an economy by its people. It is trying to deal with a corrupt, dysfunctional president with a paralyzed dysfunctional administration. This is definitely not a good combination and this situation can't do anything but increase tension in a perpetually conflicted part of the world. Trump does not have the skill or competency to deal effectively with the festering problem that Iran poses in the Middle East. Trump is a walking, talking disaster who is going to bumble the United States into a war that nobody in America wants. By withdrawing from the Iran deal he has shown Iran, the other signatory countries to the deal and the rest of the world that Donald Trump can't be trusted. What is needed now is calm, rational leadership not erratic, neurotic, confrontational, bombastic rhetoric.
