Guilliman has a very strategic mind. Just like he let humans worship the Emperor even though he was disgusted. He knew it was the only way for the Imperium to stay unified. Even if yhey both didn't change they would be very much aware that a conflict between them would be the last nail on the Imperium's coffin.

I just read Son of the Forest. When he thought Guilliman was dead, he looked on his past actions as folly, ignorance. Yet it ends with him pretty much just shook that Roboute is alive. But he'll probably just be glad to have any of his Brothers back.

If we based it on his dilemmas in the ending of the Lion son of the forest, he will definitely give a big hug to Guilliman once he sees him.
He thought he was the only remaining Primarch, I can feel his relief after he heard he's not alone.
Hell, he says he's even willing to work with Leman Russ. Remember how he hated the man? 😂

Oh, also found out my chapter has gone full on crazy with paranoia and has been competing with the Inquisition for friendly fire kills just to find those guys I put into place to guard our home.
