Hi. I'd like to know if Rhino is good for woodworking designs, and for 2.5D designing namely for cnc routers?

Mention your Favourite 3D modelling Software, down here...(BTW ignore the weird colour shifting. Gotta turn off auto WB here after)

Do you know any Ytb channel that teaches Rhino well ?

I know SketchUp and Rhino at a basic level, for now I have been using SketchUp to create relatively simple architecture models to take axonometric and section cuts of those models.

Do you recommend me doing that but in Rhino? I have been thinking about it, I know Rhino too, I even did a church part a few months ago to take a axonometric draw, but for now I am more used to the SketchUp workflow.

Your definition of "parametric modeling" is misleading. You state that it indicates the modeling it related to algorithms. Not only is this slightly less accurate, it's also more confusing. The term "parametric" simply refers to modeling based on *parameters* that *persist* and can be changed at any point later in the model (providing the original geometry remains in some form that can remain parameterized).

Simply put, tools like Solidworks are the most straightforward implementation of "parametric" because they use parameters that are preserved and can be changed non-sequentially within your workflow. None of that involves algorithms. Building algorithms on top of parametric modeling is essentially one step further -- parametric (parameters) plus logic and workflow, which, more simply, can be referred to as "automation".
