Sadly, I can't do this at my Planet Fitness 😢

Nowhere near failure, every rep looked the same

Funny thing is, that's not what training to failure looks like at all. You can scream all you want but if the speed isn't slowing down to almost a complete stop on the last one, it's not failure.

Yeah that's not how training to failure looks like. He's probably doing this as a joke.

He trained to failure alright. Failing every bodybuilding show he's ever attempted.

He is miles away from failure. The concentric is moving at a consistent high momentum. The commentator has attached the wrong clip

Leg curls dont even hurt when you fail in my experience the reps just slow down and then you cant do a rep. His rep speed didnt even slow down. That was like an rpe 7 max.

He looks like he's gonna deliver at any given moment

Idk my failure is usually 2-3reps max with grunts. I feel like that many reps in reserve doesn’t require the scream.

Don't let the "you're ego lifting" bullies get you. Load that shit up. 4 plates on each side is a warmup for most people.

Much like other comments, I don’t agree. Screaming doesn’t mean failure. Failure is when you can’t do another rep. You can scream and go to failure, sure, but you can also scream and not go to failure. And you can also go to failure without screaming 🤷🏻‍♂️ who made this video? Why’re we here, and why do some young people think “going to failure” and yelling is equivalent to high intensity?

Scream all you want, or don’t 🤷🏻‍♂️ doesn’t make a difference. Intensity = output of the muscle and how hard you push. You can do it with or without yelling.

This is how Dr. Mike always warm up his vocal cords, before heavy lifting
