I had the chance to see him live 3 times, at Reggae Sun Splash in Santa Barbara in 1992 in Monrovia, Liberia in 1998 and in Kampala, Uganda in 2003. God rest his soul!

Lucky Dube is the greatest reggae musician from Africa. With his songs, he preached for social justice, for ethical uprightness, for love of the other. It continues to sadden me that it was his own black brothers that murdered him. Too sad! Rest In Peace, prophet and legend.
