Dad left me and my three brothers when when we were little kids. My elder brother was 7 and I was 5, dad got married to new woman and left us with mum. Mum looked after us until I came to University.

We still love our dad but the woman he got married to is not good. She always set boundaries with me, mum and my brothers 😢.

When listening to this very song, my heart is thorn and I am broken into pieces. When the sun is setting and the memories regarding how tough the life was and what my mother did, I can't hold back my tears.

It is a lifetime pain in my life. I use to pray to God, please look after my mum until I become successful and when my mum enjoy my blessings💔💔😢😢.

This song is not an ordinary song 😢. It is a lifetime testimony to some of us including me and my three brothers.

This is my life. My father left us when I was 13 and my mom raised me till universities and saw my wedding but not my children. When I left her in a further studies in the USA. I visited her on my summer break and promised her to see her the coming summer but she was hiding me her cancer and left me forever on May before my school closed. She is the one and the only for me to go to Ethiopia. Now I have no one there and disconnected to my homeland since 2010. Mom. Rest In Peace. You are my love forever. I'll tell your kindness to my beautiful children in the foreign land.

I have never met my father but I always remember him in prayer. This song reminds me of days I struggled when I needed him for help but all in vain. It's so touching.

Makes me remember my secondary School days. Things were very tough with my Dad. He was staying far away from us having rented the apartment for I and my sister. Most times we couldn't afford rent. The landlady will shout and shout, and of course lock us outside. On one occasion I had to hide my bag in a nearby bush before she arrived and she locked up the apartment. I slept in an uncompleted building close by and the following morning I was "wandering the streets" with no place to call home. A good Samaritan gave me some money with which I used to fare myself to meet my parents deep in the village. That was in 2007-2010.
Fast forward to 2022, I'm a graduate of chemistry. Running two separate businesses with a couple of staffs. Working as an independent contractor to an Int'l organization.
My Dad's condition is far better now and I have no less than ten acres of land to my name already. Not where I want to be but I'm making progress and of course I give God the glory.
