On the Road to Emmaus: Why Couldn't the Disciples Recognize Yeshua?

In this week's Besorah we read about Yeshua meeting two of his disciples on the road to Emmaus after his resurrection. Bu the text tells us that the two men didn't realize it was Yeshua despite the fact that they walked and spoke with each other for hours. In this video, we explore why the disciples were unable to recognize their teacher and discover how God sometimes disguises the truth to accomplish something even greater.

By the way, i think his resurrected body had no wounds or scars, so that he offered Thomas to try to put his finger into his wounds, not to put actually. “Do what lacks you to believe, but become a believer in the end!” Jesus always abhorred all who demanded a sign from him, so Thomas’ requirement for a disfigured body was also impossible to agree on.

years ago I had surgery for 3rd stage melanoma
my daughter arranged for my best friend to travel from a different country as a surprise.
When I walked into the room where she was sitting, I looked straight at her but didn't recognize her at all, even though she looked exactly as she had before,
which proves this story

After God resurrected Jesus, Jesus was no longer in a human form. But in an angel spirit form. 1 Peter 3:18.
Like earlier angels, Jesus had to take on various human forms to be visible to humans.
That is the reason no one recognised him. Only when Jesus spoke or did something that it clicked on the audience, that here was Jesus.

There is no evidence that both were men; it could have been a husband and wife.
It could have been two women!
