If we have movie night in heaven, I can't wait to see The Road to Emmaus film and The Road to Damascus film.

My Grandmother had a print of Jesus and the two disciples walking on the road to Emmaus. When I stayed with her, I would stand on her bed and look at it. After she moved house, there was no sign of the picture in her new home. After her death some years later, my Father and I were talking about the picture, and he said he would have liked to have had it. I tried to find it, visited a museum in Leeds and looked through the Victorian religious pictures, but no sign of it.

Our Vicar suggested putting an ad in the Methodist Recorder. Months passed, and one day I received a letter from a lady in Dovedale (UK), saying she had the picture, and would like me to have it. Relatives of hers brought it to my house, and it was the same print. I later went to meet this lovely Christian lady. I gave the picture to my Father, who was so pleased to have it in his bedroom. After his death, I took it, and it now hangs above my bed.

The story in Luke has always been my favourite Bible story, started off by Grandma`s picture.

Jesus is my everything, and I adore Him. He is my joy, my best friend, and I'm thankful for Him. He is infinitely beautiful, lovely, and wonderful. I cherish Him, my love forever. I love Him, and Jesus is the reason I live.

Jesus is so special. Jesus is lovely to me. Jesus is so sweet and amazing. I adore Jesus, I love Jesus, I cherish Jesus. Jesus is my everything. Jesus is my everything, and I am complete in Him. He is everything I could've ever wanted.

Jesus is my great joy, my love forever. Jesus is my sweetheart, whom I love and whom I cherish and adore. He is so precious, He is lovable and I'm so thankful for Him. He is my joy forever. I love my precious Jesus.

33 The Jews answered Jesus, “We’re going to stone you to death, not for any good things you’ve done, but for dishonoring God. You claim to be God, although you’re only a man.”

34 Jesus said to them, “Don’t your Scriptures say, ‘I said, “You are gods” ’? 35 The Scriptures cannot be discredited. So if God calls people gods (and they are the people to whom he gave the Scriptures), 36 why do you say that I’m dishonoring God because I said, ‘I’m the Son of God’? God set me apart for this holy purpose and has sent me into the world. 37 If I’m not doing the things my Father does, don’t believe me. 38 But if I’m doing those things and you refuse to believe me, then at least believe the things that I’m doing. Then you will know and recognize that the Father is in me and that I am in the Father.”
