I think the following hypothetical situation would be a good enough illustration to what the hastily cooked impeachment process in the House looked like.
Imagine a culinary school student is tasked with a homework of baking a cake, let say a Peach cobbler, for example. The student wants to finish that assignment before going for a scheduled vacation, but he/she has only some flour, water and some artificial peach flavor at his disposal. The student is too lazy or for some other unknown reasons unwilling to spend additional efforts and extra time to get the necessary ingredients. Instead he/she bakes the cake, using only some flour, water and ARTIFICIAL peach flavor. Then he/she happily leaves for a month long vacation, while the 'cobbler' sits drying out eventually, losing even what's left of that 'peach' flavor.
After returning from vacation, the student recalls that it's time to present the homework to a teacher. He/she takes the dried out piece of dough and calls it a real Peach cobbler, but even if it doesn't look/tastes like it, it's the Teacher's duty now to go and obtain the missing ingredients to finish the student's homework(!).
To which the teacher reasonably tells the aspiring 'baker' to go pound sand.
I believe the above example reflects what was done by the House in a nutshell.
I would also add, that no amount of 'big' bombastic words, repeated ad nauseum platitudes, emotions and unusually big tearing eyes could replace the real Peaches in the REAL Peach cobbler.

Adam Schiff is a very good example when talking about abuse of power. In Zimbabwe, the Army appeared and simply took over. The problem with congress is it became a club where you pay dues. WTF!
Its one thing to be a affiliated with a political party and another to submit to a member of that party. I expect my Senators and Congressmen to be their own person and not allow any other elected person to think they have power over you or tell you what to do or what to say. To do so is to submit your soul.
