DP Gachagua urges calm ahead of senate impeachment trial

Embattled Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has turned to God and the Judiciary, with his impeachment case set for prosecution before the Senate on Wednesday and Thursday next week. Gachagua who attended the 34th anniversary thanksgiving of the ACK diocese of Embu in Embu County, also lashed out at national assembly members following his impeachment this week, accusing them of wrongfully seeking to boot him out of office. One method Gachagua could escape this crisis is by demanding that teachers stop caning children and to offer to help those caned to obtain compensation for damages and pain and demand action on the criminal perpetrators.
