FLEXIBLE DENTURES VS CONVENTIONAL DENTURES
If you need to replace missing teeth, you have quite a few restorative dentistry options, some great and some…questionable at best.
Flexible dentures are one option that help many people regain confidence in their smile, and they are often preferred over regular dentures.
In this presentation, we'll have a look at flexible dentures to see what they're all about and compare them to conventional acrylic metal partial or cast partial dentures.
Flexible dentures are more comfortable and patient friendly. Because of the translucent nature of the material, they blend easily with the surrounding tissues making it impossible to detect in the mouth.
Whether to replace the traditional partial denture, that is with acrylic teeth with metal clasps with flexible denture with no metal clasp is a controversy. Here, I have highlighted the advantages and disadvantages of the use of flexible dentures in different case scenarios like partial dentures, complete dentures, flexible lower dentures etc.
The aim of this presentation is to help the dental practitioner decide between the use of flexible dentures and conventional denture.

Thanks to your advice, I'm getting metal, you explain 100 times better than any dentist and actually, the dentists have no clue...!

You make such good, useful and informative videos. You help us in the areas where us as practicing dentists face these issues on day to day basis but can't really ask anyone or don't get the right answers. I would say that plssss make more such videos and guide us. Keep going, you are doing a great job.

I had flexible, just changed back with a cheap NHS partial set upper and lower. The flexible type sound a lot better than they are. I did not like them at all!!
