refuelling if done right can make f1 faster and have more pit stop strategy variance. Remember France 04, Schumi pitted 4 times and still won the race, 4 fast qualifying stints on low fuel, on the best car of the season. Great explanation by the way. Keep up the f1 videos.

You could even get a safety car until the second to last lap. For the restart I would suggest using the super soft tires than, especially if the guy before you stays on the hards. Maybe and I say MAYBE you could pass him in the last lap, wouldn't that be

I've never watched a race, just seemed like short cars going in circles. This channel has convinced me to watch a race, now that I understand the workings behind a race. F1 should sponsor you for getting them a new viewer.

Great video with great animations! Really appreciate the detail. One astris to note, the 1st lap on any set of tyres is slower then the 2nd due to drivers building up heat. Attempting to drive race speed from the pits is what cost Alex Zanardi his legs

I'm very late on this video but man oh man I needed it! I understood the pieces of race strategy but struggled to put them together. Now the puzzle has been laid out for me and it makes so much sense!!
