Toastmasters’ Speechcraft Experience

Toastmasters International wants to help you prepare and practice for any upcoming speaking engagement—such as a job interview or work presentation—through its updated Speechcraft program. Since 1924, Toastmasters is synonymous with excellence in public speaking, but you don’t have to be a member to get the benefit of Speechcraft!

In 1984, I attended a Speechcraft program. I think it was an 8-week program. At the end of that program, we had a graduation and our loved ones were invited to come to that. I loved every minute of this class. In fact, at the night of graduation, I became the new President of the group. It's a long story for this comment section but just know that while I didn't think I was capable of being the President, I finally gave in. And you know what I discovered? Toastmasters had somehow prepared me for it and I did a great job! If you ever have the chance to go to a Speechcraft, DO IT! You'll have fun and you'll learn a lot while having that fun! 🤗
