The Commando is doing something players love, but the devs didn't design it to do. What happens next? We also need to check in on the Major Order, because we achieved victory! HELLDIVERS™ 2 is a 3rd person squad-based shooter that sees the elite forces of the Helldivers battling to win an intergalactic struggle to rid the galaxy of the rising alien threats. From a 3rd person perspective, players use a variety of weapons (pistols, machine guns, flamethrowers) and stratagems (turrets, airstrikes, etc.) to shoot and kill the alien threats. Players can also aim down the sights for a more accurate 1st person camera view. Combat is accompanied by frequent sprays of blood and dismemberment as players exterminate the alien forces or players and squad mates are hit by environmental explosions or friendly fire. Enemy encampments and battlefield environments depict bloodstains and dismembered corpses.

one thing they should fix with the commando is the bug that it doesn't know when it's empty

If the devs don't like us clearing bases from afar they can introduce an armored or higher HP version of fabricators. It would be a natural progression of this struggle between two warring parties. Make us use hellbombs to clear these few armored fabricators. Obviously not all bases need to have armored fabs.

I'm glad some players are still enjoying HD2. The devs sucked all of the fun out of the game for me, so i haven't played a mission in like a month. Although seeing how they already want to nerf the commando shows that they've learned nothing.

I wish they f**king showed the Armor Penetration and Structure Damage on strategems, so we actually knew what the f--k they could actually do. It's not like the entire playerbase is going to be paying attention to every single little change that isn't announced in game.

If they're still nerfing stuff they deserve to fail. I'm absolutely sick of heavy weapons doing no damage to large enemies.

Taking a break from the game but about the commando, i dont see why they would waste time and ressources to "fix" it. The fact that it destroy fabs doesnt make it game breaking of wtv, just let us have some fun for once and work on the bugs that have been there since the beginning lol

I dropped into a mission this past week that had two divers in it. One left just after I joined, so it was just me and the guy that started the mission.

He was in a big mess that the other players had created. So I went to work helping him clear things out, as two more divers joined over a 5-10 minute period. We then proceeded to obliterate the mission, operating competent in sync as a unit.

When we were extracting the guy that started the mission remarked, "I went from the worst possible start to the best mission I've ever played. That is what Helldivers is all about!". The good parts of the community are really good, though their are some players that get in over their heads. I rarely run into trolls or griefers.

Being able to destroy fabricators from a distance is so helpful when fighting the bots on higher difficulties. Having more than 1 support weapon that can frag them is very useful.

Dev: Okay, so what bug is next to be fixed?
QA: Well, the game still crashes a lot, causes BSODs, lots of black screen soft locks, infinite loading screens, and disconnects back to destroyer. Stimming still still cause teammates to stop sprinting. Bots are still shooting through terrain, and the last major patch not only didn't deliver the promised fix to patrols and reduction of dependence on AT, but actively made the situation worse.
Dev: Mmhmm, the players must really be frustrated. Is that it?
QA: Oh no, this barely scratches the surface.
Dev: Okay, anything else worth mentioning?
QA: Well, there is this one bug with the Commando that lets it kill Factory Striders. The playerbase seems to really enjoy this one.
Dev: Gotcha, let's fix that one.

If they're discussing a nerf for one of the funnest stratagems in the game already they have not learned their lesson. They listen to the community but by the time they do it's too late and they've already gone forward with ruining something. My hope is that they listen to the community this time BEFORE jumping the shark and taking away the fun.

I had to poop mid mission once. I hope on coms and told everyone then hid in an already open buddy vault. Came back to find the whole team guarding the vault waiting for me to get back. Really cool moment. We're all friends now and drive together when the social menus will let us.

I legitimately thought it was a feature, it made so much sense to me, the spear already destroys factories in the same way, it seems fair to me.

If there's one thing I wished people would understand, it's that they need to stop spamming the revive request when their squadmates are in the thick of things. Wait until they're safe, if they still havent revived you, type in a request in the team chat

I would love to see an underground mission type, either in underground bot bunkers or deep in bug holes like starship troopers. The stratagems would be limited, not allowing the use of eagles and orbs because you are underground, but to make it balanced only light and medium enemies would spawn in these bunkers. I think if they focused on a more horror aspect and kept the lights off, requiring flashlight use, would make the gameplay fun and interesting. The objectives could be a sabotage like mission where you drop into the bunker destroy targets and extract when you leave the bunker or bug hole. Maybe it would get boring quick but I just want a new mission type, preferably for both enemy types
