Getting Into A New School Experience!

I have changed 12 schools and I am in class 9. This is because my father is in the Indian Army.

My fathers in army...so me and my brother changed school in every 3 years...but now its over as I'm out for college now!!!

I passed out from Class 10 in June 2022. I had to change my school since my old school had no option for Higher secondary education. Hence, I had to shift to a different school. It was really weird for me in the first day, but I realised that there are more students who have just joined recently. I hoped for things to get better.
It was actually was getting better, but I was finding it difficult to fit in and I had an urge to change my school. At the same time, my class teacher made me the class captain, which in itself became a huge responsibility for me. Now, it's very hard to even get a chance to talk to other students as the teachers give me a lot of work . I am not able to socialise with anyone in a normal way even after months of joining the school . The teachers and students humilate me at every possible moment and I am not able to fit in.

I had changed my school recently after so many years . you can say this is my first time and leaving my friends of 8years is really hard.but somehow I managed.When I first entered in my new school I was really confident, excited and obviously nervous.I was literally freaking out inside by the thought if I can manage to make friends or not because I'm honestly a socially awkward person.But luckily there was another New student with me at that time and I felt a little relieved by the thought that there was someone like me .And when it was the time of giving our introduction to the whole class, I got in front of the class, standing, looking at everyone faces .At that moment I literally can feel my heartbeat pounding rapidly inside my chest, I can also felt my hands getting sweaty due to the nervousness.Somehow I managed to gave my introduction not like how I planned but still as I said, I managed.After that as you know I sucks at making conversations so it takes me time to get fully comfortable with my new environment.So it's been six months now since I had joined my new school and I made a quiet a lot of friends but still there is a difference between how I'm used to being with my old friends and how I'm being with my new friends.I hope it changes over time.I.really feel good by sharing my experience with all of you guys.😊

I changed my school last year. I spent 10 years in my previous school so I obviously made many friends there. I basically spent my whole childhood there. However I made 3 close friends and I used to really enjoy hanging out with them.
I struggled to make friends last year but this year I met some very cool people who became my friends. But honestly, I don’t vibe the same with them. I still miss my friends from previous school. And since I shifted to a different country, I don’t get a chance to meet them irl either. I’m very glad that we stay in touch by FaceTime tho.
But I just have to spend one more year in my new school before I complete my school life and go back to india for further studies.

But shifting is not a bad experience, there are both pros and cons, I’m just trying to focus on the pros.

I can totally feel you because as my father is an army soldier. me and my brother had to literally change school within 6 months or 1 year... like Rajasthan, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Jammu and so on🤯

I was in class 1 when i mistakely spent a period in class 2 and rest of the day in different section 😂

I am an introvert, nerd and a socially awkward guy, and changing the schools scares the shit out of me. I agree that we should adjust to that kind of environment, but what if the people are in their own world? They don’t even care whether a new student or someone came. Same thing happened with me. The first time I entered a new school, I was completely not sure of what to do. Also I had lack of sense of humour and I’m not even a funny guy at all. I neither made good friends nor impress anyone. And later I ended up being the most ignored guy in my classroom. The only good thing is that I had at least 2 close friends, and a female best friend.
If I studied in the same school for 10 years, it wouldn’t be a problem for me, but since I’m a socially awkward guy, it’s really a big problem for me, especially when you change school..
Currently I’m studying in Intermediate 1st year, and I joined in a new institution. Due to lockdown, I couldn’t meet my new friends, and that hurts a lot. Hopefully I would be able to make good and close friends..

I changed my school 6 times because of my father's transfer as he is in ARMY and finally completed class 12th 😆😅
