The way Poom portrays the emotions of Joe through his eyes is exceptional.Emotions such as happiness, sadness and betrayal caused by Ming are portrayed perfectly by the actor. Also Up is doing an amazing job as Ming and I’m probably gonna seek therapy soon 😀

But the fact that Ming actually gave what Joe wanted, those personalized cups with their names and it was not only because Joe wished to have something like that, it came from the bottom of his heart, that gesture was something he did alone, he saw how hopeful Joe was, how his eyes were sparkling but then he saw how his demeanor changed, becoming sad and he wanted to make him happy, even if he can’t give himself over to the boy. He wasn’t being manipulative with that gift and even his sister saw how genuine he was when she saw him with Joe. She could see that her brother was showing some happiness because Ming is mostly unhappy all the time, but with Joe he has moments where he wants to smile or even laugh because he does like his personality, you can see how Joe behaves so cutely and then a smile creeps across Ming’s face but he tries to stop it to no avail, even if it’s barely there, it’s there.

And you can’t justify Ming’s actions as he’s aware that he’s with someone whose back is similar to the one he thinks he fell for years ago, that he’s adamantly fcking the boy from behind as if he’s imagining Tong there, and that’s so wrong and Joe doesn’t deserve that, but Ming was deceived in the past. He fell for Joe as Tong’s stand-in, he fell for the whole idea of watching an actor performing one scene he liked the most, he didn’t see a face, he was mesmerized and once he approached Tong, he talked about that scene, but Tong, who is full of himself, couldn’t tell him the truth, that he wasn’t the one Ming was talking about and Ming has believed it all those years. Tong has been stringing him all along as he needs the connection from Ming’s family, one of the wealthiest families. And I do feel bad for Ming. He’s hurting and there, he didn’t know he was hurting Joe so bad. But I’m glad everything is disclosed. Joe finally knows that Ming is “only” with him because he reminds him of Tong, because their backs are similar and boy, that was so painful for Joe. This is not the real angst, it will get worse 😢

These two act so beautifully together. The way they convey their emotions. What a breathtaking pair of actors. They are natural 💗

Ming is so mean to Joe. Little words and phrases he says are like little daggers that poor Joe feels but didn’t truly understand until the words were said by Ming. I really truly hope Joe doesn’t wind up with this guy in the end. I feel bad for him and I want him to be happy with someone that will really love him.
Oh and the saddest part of all of this is that the picture that made Ming fall in love with Stupid Tong isn’t even Tong. You’d think he would’ve recognized that beautiful body sooner
