Plants vs Zombies is a timeless masterpiece. I mean you get to fight zombies with plants so that's pretty cool. However, the speedrun can get just a bit... nerve-wracking

Fun fact in the original version of the game, the dancing zombie was actually michael jackon in his Thriller outfit, but after his death, they thought it was a bit distasteful and changed the sprite

The reason why there are "suddenly" two rows of water in the backyard is because World One is the front yard, which didn't have a pool. Your backyard always did.

Since you seemed confused, here a little clarification: Worlds 1 and 2 play in the front lawn, worlds 3 and 4 in the backyard and the remainder of the game on the roof. This is why world 3 and 4 have a pool to begin with - it was there before this all went down. Not to mention, at the beginning of each level, in worlds 1 and 2 you can see that there's nothing like a fence up front with only a wonky picket fence at the top, while in worlds 3 and 4 you have zombies requiring ladders to climb your backyard fence :)
This however raises the question on why a) at night there appear graves out of thin air and b) how the zambonie zombie gets the vehicle into your backyard in the first place.

Pro Tip : The strat to speedrun Zomboss is to freeze, thaw, and refreeze the robot as much as possible. When he is still, let the plants to their job, when he moves blast him with heat and refreeze, repeat the thawing process if you can for extra damage (remember to not overuse this strat since the Jalapenos and Ice Shrooms are needed for his balls, use them wisely and keep your brains inside your head)

Fun fact, I completed this game 10 years ago when I was 8 years old. I still remember sat on my bed with my I pod touch on the final level. My hands were aching and my I pod was boiling hot.

Not pro tip: If you don’t have any wall nuts or defense plants and you need to buy time to do something, use a flower pot (if you have them on your inventory) or sunflower. They load quickly and could buy you a couple seconds to do something if you need it. Ps you could use any plant tbh lol, just try to use the cheapest in your inventory Also, the final boss has a pattern with the fire and ice balls. I’m pretty sure they alternate every time, but just in case make sure you have at least one fire and ice plant in your conveyor before the zombies fires the thing
