They are not a target.

This fictional video was created to support the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement Health Care in Danger initiative. It aims to address the issue of violence against patients, health workers, facilities and vehicles, and ensure safe access to and delivery of health care in armed conflict and other emergencies.

Two years ago the UN Security Council adopted Resolution 2286 condemning attacks against medical facilities in conflict zones. Little has been done since and hospitals continue to be attacked. We call on the UNSC to put their words to action.
