But once we’re comfortable with chord tone soloing, how do we start adding other notes?

Great to see you are a juggler too! Passing pins with another person is a lot like jamming. I'm not very good at either of them, but it sure is fun! Liked this lesson - need to work on my chord tones!

I know just enough about jazz to get myself into trouble especially timing and form. I drop and ad beats and key changes within a tune such as All The Things You Are are close to impossible for me 😂 😮 😎🎸🥁🎼🎤👍

Jared I’ve come to the realization that I’ll never be a “ jazz guitarist “ . That being said I love the concepts of Chord tones and the various approaches to them .Are there guitarist ( examples) that use these concepts in rock, blues, pop tunes etc?
