It's a wheel speed sensor or an ABS sensor causing the abs and traction control to turn off. Very common fault don't worry. The sensor is about £40. Google or YouTube a video it's incredibly easy to replace. And for the airbag sensor, that's another very common e46 fault. The airbag itself is fine, you just knocked a lead or a sensor. Everything's actually fine. You can buy a bypass from eBay to stop the warning light coming up for about £15. Very easy fix :)

Im getting a supercharged 2001 330i black/black with 101k miles. It has every option available and its pushing about 350hp. Wish me luck.

I SWEAR he just compared the handling to a Ford KA :O

Awesome Video. The effort spent in the video clearly shows. Keep it up

I like the way you delete any slightly negative reviews of your video - pmsl

I use the 330ci for my daily driver as my other cars are the e46 m3 and for special reasons the M3 CSL as an investment as well as the best drivers car for the money, 35k!its already worth 12 grand more than what I paid for it 3 years ago, better than property at this rate investment wise! So I am pretty familiar with e46 platform M3 the most but the 330ci is a great car to drive and live with, its capable of doing everything you need it to do with style. If I had to pick one thing that would class as a weak point I would have to say that its not the best car to use in the snow, 4 inches of snow, and a few hours of traffic compressing it to be a polished surface and its going to struggle to even pull away. The M3 is even worse

I've had exactly the same car for over 5 years now, i still love it but would prefer the manual. Because I'm in London I don't drive it a lot, just 3000 miles per year. I get just 20.5 miles per gallon. I like the black leather interior and the black headlining. The trim around the car is colour coded, not the tacky black variety

These cars are a lot like having a hot but demanding girlfriend....they are always needing something from you ! If you are willing and able to DIY your own repair work, figure on spending $1500 to $2000 (USD) per year to keep it on the road. Double to triple that amount if you pay someone else to do the work. Good luck !

Inline 6 and straight 6 is the same...and it is straight 6

lol. You bought a 15 year old BMW and you're not even sure what the engine is.

Fueling your car isnt as issue really. Beats paying £2-400 a month in finance payments + insurance + fuel for a painfully average hatchback like 90% of the population in the UK do. rather have an older, decent motor that's paid for sat on my drive any day. Then again I can work on it myself so that saves the most money.

Hello a straight 6 Cylinder, is not a V6. In-line 6 means that the crankshaft is inline wither the drive line and the cars drive direction.

Had an 03 330i sport, pressure sensor went, and it turned the traction and stability control off. Its fitted underneath the abs unit n cost me over £400 for new sensor and abs unit to be removed and checked then refitted.

I've got the RHD 330ci M-Sport Manual in full black leather interior with 100K miles all stock and clean inside out.
Is it worth keeping?
is it going to hold its value knowing all the electrics will soon dominate the roads?

Bought a BMW & didn't think think of fuel consumption beforehand. Chuff ! Buy a 318diesel then & still get the same handling
