I just want to say thank you for taking the time to put educational information out here to us. I’m currently building my first set of cabinets. Full kitchen uppers, lowers and island. I have never built cabinets before and haven’t even stepped foot in a cabinet shop. I can’t tell you how many times I have searched stumpy nubs how to do this or that and the info I needed to do an operation safely and accurately has been top notch. You don’t know it but I couldn’t have done it with out you. Thanks again and have a great day.

Great tip for cutting angles greater than 90 degrees. And I am a fan of Trent diamond stones too. Thank you for sharing. Have a great day and please continue to stay healthy.

Great tip if you have a left tilt arbor saw but not so good if it tilts to the right. I found another safe way to cut acute angles with a right tilt saw. Use a digital angle tool (like Wixie). Using a 1/2 dowel rod or 3/4 x 3/4 wood as a shim (the length of your fence), stick it to the lower side of your fence with double sided tape. With the wood you are cutting, place it against the fence on top of the shim and measure the angle. Now add that to the desired angle you want to cut and set your saw blade for that. Example: Desired angle is 40 degrees and my shimmed wood angle measures 10 degrees. 40+10=50 degrees. You can easily set your saw 50 degrees. This works perfectly and is safe if you use some common sense while cutting.

Great tip. Not a lot of folks think about subtracting the "needed angle" from 90 to get a 'workable' angle. And double sided tape is a God-send. Keep em coming!! Thanks

Great tip. I've run into this very issue myself, and adding the extra material is simply genius. Thanks.
