Reducing mental health stigma is my mothers job, she actually works with the city to raise awareness and decrease stigma about mental health issues. @myharto

I love how you talked about mental health problems. My dad has bipolar and I think it's good you talked about the issue :)

Hannah, one of the reasons I started watching your videos was because I heard your ear biscuits its episode. Ever since then, I've realised mental health issues do not define who you are and while you can't change the past you can focus on the future and determine your own life, despite things which have happened during your childhood.

The book you recommended (the burden of sympathy) helped me very much!

There's so much stigma surrounding mental illness and it makes me determined to make a difference. Whether that's by speaking out, or educating people - every little helps :) you will have made people think about mental health, so thank you!

Sadly, a lot of people in my country do not have access to support/services they desperately need. I completely agree with your statement of do not give up and to anyone reading this who can relate things can get better!

i have dealt with mental illness for as long as i can remember and going to my parents about it last year was the best decision i've ever made. i'm now able to control it more and understand it more and i'm glad someone like you with such a large audience is talking about this because many people see it as an uncomfortable topic to talk about and i know it's scary wanting to reach out for help so thank you for making it a little easier for those that want to seek help

"I hope that the day this gets posted, somebody benefits from this."
I have bipolar disorder, and Thursdays are my therapy days. Kinda scary to type on the internet (especially youtube comments, lol) but you know, I`m not gonna freeze up on mental illness, right Hannah? I usually don`t open my subs until after I get home, but I was like hey, why not. This really helped me today. Thank you so much, you`re super sweet, and I love watching you every Thursday!

Even if it was said while drunk, thanks Hannah for talking about mental health.

i'm glad you mentioned mental health issues at a time that I really need it. it took me a long time to come to my senses and talk to someone about my GAD and depression because society (tumblr) generalizes and romanticizes it so much I thought nobody would take me seriously. I finally got help and got put on medication and it's the best thing that's ever happened to me. sadly, I am having financial issues and other issues and I have been off my meds for almost a week now. the withdrawal sucks so bad but I am trying to stay positive and hoping I will be back on my miracle meds soon. probably no one will read this idk why i'm typing it out but thanks again hanna hart. love u.

I absolutely LOVE you for this Hannah Hart! My brother has bipolar schizophrenia and it is tough. As he got older, it progressed and got worse. He's in the state hospital at Austin Texas now. I cannot stand how people don't take mental health seriously! With you being such a social media butterfly (sorry I don't know what else to put) and talking about this makes me incredibly happy! Thank you so much for everything you do! I love you Hannah!!!!

I'm so so glad you made this video! I'm close to some people who suffer from mental illness and I hate how little we are able to talk about it in our society without being seen/treated like an outcast. I hope you make more in depth videos about this topic if you feel comfortable doing so. I think it could help a lot of people!

IT'S NEVER TOO SOON TO BE SO WEIRD, HANNAH.

Also, I admire how much you care about things like mental health. You truly are such an inspiration. I know you've been through so much but I'm glad you are where you are now.

As someone who works in the mental health field, yes, it is important for people to realize they are not alone and that they can find someone to talk to. Good job Hannah!

I have had depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts for nearly a year. I am so glad you brought it up . But the sad thing is that no one wants to recognise mental health issues as proper diseases because the way they treat them is just by saying things like "cheer up" and "your fine, you can do this". quite often these don't work. But if we keep fighting we can get them recognised and i hope to see the day where my condition is recognised.

Plus i would like to say that you always manage to cheer me up on my sad days MyHarto your videos make me feel better about myself. Thank you

Please continue to talk about mental health issues. It's so good to bring awareness to it, so that people can become more educated and hopefully save lives. Love you Hannah! You are doing great.

I have really bad depression and anxiety. I've struggled with depression for about 7 years, but after I had a baby 9 months ago I got post-partum depression. It's got so bad that I considered placing my baby in an adoptive family. Luckily I spoke up to my husband and my parents. They helped me get the help I need. It's still really hard, and the doctor and I are still working on an official diagnosis and finding the right medication for me. My tip to people struggling with mental illness is don't be afraid of medication. It's not masking your problem, it's helping balance out your chemistry. Most people who start taking antidepressants or similar medications don't need them forever. However, if you do need it forever then that's ok. Better to be stable, happy, and healthy then feel like you're out of control.

Thank you MyHarto. We are dealing with PTSD and OCD in my house and you have helped so much. Your video P4A: The Burden of Sympathy was a massive help. I got the book and those 4 C's are very important. It has saved my marriage :) So thank you Hannah! I would have never known about that book had it not been for you. We are coping and doing a lot better. I refuse to loose my person and you've helped me be a better me for her.
