A perfect opportunity to replay it, just to listen to Sunset Coastline (which must rank as one of the best first mission/level soundtracks in gaming) This PS5 version is actually good for those who wisely opted for the Vita version (i.e. the original platform and benefitted from its portability) instead of the PS4 version, and now want to try the console experience.

This was my second Ys game (first was Memories of Celceta). I have since gone on to play almost all of them and 8 is absolutely my favorite one. The story, characters, music and combat are the best in the entire series. I have many fond memories with this game and try to do a yearly playthrough. Will definitely be picking up this definitive edition!

Played it back on launch on ps4. And just bought thr ps5 LE version. I really dislike paying for upgraded version but I always wanted a physical version of this game so I still bought it since it also had some extra stuff with it

Such a beautiful game with a fantastic soundtrack. My re-entry into the Ys franchise and a fantastic jumping-on point for newcomers.

I'd pay whatever they want for this game. Ys games hold their value, but not only that... This is hands down one of the greatest video games (not just RPG's) I've *ever* played.

I absolutely got the special edition. This game is more than worth it.
