SIXTEEN MONTHS IN PRISON FOR RAPING A CHILD!?!?! THERES THE PROBLEM!!!

This is why I was not surprised to hear about Amanda Byne's mental health issues. Jeannette McCurdy mentioned how Dan Schneider was inappropriate to her, so I wouldn't be surprise if he did the same to Amanda. He wouldn't give her her own show without asking for something.

Parents. Do not leave your children alone with other adults, even if they're teenagers. It's your job to protect them

Nickelodeon and Disney were such a big part of my childhood and it’s genuinely heartbreaking that our entertainment was at the cost of their safety and sanity.

i want to thank Jeanette McCurdy for being one of the very first persons to speak out about this. nickelodeon came to her and offered her $300, 000 when she was like 19 years old and said if she wanted the money she had to sign an NDA. Jeanette turned that blood money down and wrote her book “I’m Glad My Mom Died” where she was able to freely speak about her time at Nick. She blew the doors off first and now we’re seeing documentaries about it. i hope Dan Schneider is put away forever for his crimes.

16 months is nothing for what they did to these children

Sixteen months in prison for child sexual abuse, but if you had weed or drugs, they will try to send you away for decades. That's crazy as hell. Sex offenders just living amongst citizens.

The dogs licking peanut butter off a kid was super weird and should’ve never been approved

I felt so bad for Drake and his dad while watching the documentary. His dad tried so hard to kept Brian away from Drake, but Brian managed to turn Drake against his dad and get full access to Drake. The fact he only got 16 months after destroying Drakes life is absolutely insane. This documentary shed so much light on some of my favorite shows like Drake and Josh, Zoey 101, and The Amanda Show. I don’t know if I could ever watch those shows the same again after knowing what was going on behind the scenes.

How is Nickelodeon sending a message of support now, but still kept Bryan, Dan and all the others around?

We need a Surviving Schneider documentary.

It's honestly so devastating because our entire childhood, if you grew up in the 90s is full of predators.

My sister and I used to watch All That and The Amanda Show every summer from 1998 to 2001. At 6-9 years old, we did notice at times when kids would go from “animated and energetic” to “deadpan” or “dead faced”. I always thought it was some form of “older kid humor”. But now I realize it was just them flat out being uncomfortable and my sister and I were picking up on what others didn’t see.

The old Nickelodeon logo was a FOOT. Let that sink in for a minute when you think about how many foot fetish skits Dan Schneider had kids doing and it was right in our face the whole time

After reading Jeanette McCurdy’s book, I knew more people would feel safe to come forward. Shame on these adults who were supposed to protect these kids…

Only 16 months in prison for trauma that lasts a lifetime. Completely disrupting one's childhood SMH

And we wonder why Amanda Bynes is the person she is today

Man, as a child I wanted to be on Nickelodeon or Disney SO BAD. Now Im pretty thankful for my quiet, lower middle class, safe upbringing.
