What is a Vector

When we deal with numbers in the physical world, we sometimes forget that some physical quantities have a directional quality in them. Telling someone to simply go 1 mile is not helpful. You will have to tell them in what direction as well. Moving from one point to another is called displacement and displacement is a vector quantity. It has both magnitude as well as direction. In this episode we try to provide some basic concepts that will be needed when doing vector additions and vector products.
