Why Is Pluto Not A Planet?

How do you get fired from being a planet? Well, more like demoted. Not everyone was happy about Pluto losing its status as a planet, so why was Pluto demoted? And why do some experts disagree?

I vote for it to be called a dwarf planet if and only if more coverage is given to the other dwarf planets. If no appropriate depictions of dwarf planets are given (I bet they must be fascinating in their own right), we humans decry a fundamental need for basic categories and thus just call it a planet... In the absence of a category that animates and reanimates our understanding of Pluto's own family, we'll continue to use old better known categories...
