Vampire Knives are still S tier and pretty much the best weapon in the entire game. Its lifesteal is equivalent to a Greater Healing Potion every 5 seconds, or 30 Bands of Regeneration. It's not hard at all to facetank most Master Mode bosses with it an no weapons has feats comparable to it.

I brushed off the Seedler for years and years, deeming it inferior to the (OG) Terra Blade. Recently, I finally gave it a shot in the T2 Old One's Army, and I can't put it in any better way, it was like putting a slab of butter in a microwave. I've never seen ogres die so quickly to any other weapon at that stage in progression, and this was master mode. On average, they went down perhaps in 10 to 15 seconds? Golem was an even bigger pushover than usual, as well.

I feel like the useful ness during a play through should also be taken into account. The cactus sword is an immediate upgrade to the copper! It’s super easy to get the cactus for it and with more range and damage than most early game swords it’s gotta be A for me. And I like the idea of calling a cactus bat a sword lol

Honestly, the Terra Blade can’t compete with the Flying Dragon due to it being able to target through walls. That quirk alone makes it invaluable on Getfixedboi, but Terra is still worthy enough

I love the leaf blade, the fact that you can technically get this pre-boss and the leaves actually go through blocks is so good, also poison was really buffed on 1.4.4. It melts enemies faster than the fire debuff. Also, the Chlorophyte Saber and Chlorophyte Partisan spore projectiles go through blocks, not many people know that.

I saw a video of someone doing DPS testings between Dark Lance and Night's Edge, and even tho the Night's Edge is safer to use, the Dark Lance MELTS, the Shadowflame debuff is so good and you can even stack debuffs with a magma stone and a poison flask.

I would've placed the Bananarang in S Tier, you can farm blood moons with lava and traps to get the clowns at the start of Hardmode (with bloody tears) and since it shoots 10 projectiles with almost no downtime, you almost never miss any hit.

You need to try out the Shadowflame knife with the Frost Armor, Ichor Flask, and Fire Gauntlet. The amount of debuffs you can add to an enemy on 1 hit is hilarious; Plus compared to literally every other early Hardmode weapon is definitely the easiest to get and really worth getting.

I am obsessed with the starlight, its visuals are amazing, the boss to get it is an absolute blast, and I love watching every event, golem, and lunatic cultist fall to the power of facetanking with the starlight >:)

Personally, I think Light's Bane since it's buff deserves at least low B, it absolutely shreds everything for an early game sword, plus is easy to obtain.

The pearlwood sword is at least A tier in celebration seed though, if you find some suspicious water puddles in the ground there is a cloud upwards, climb it with rope and the sky islands are hallow in celebration seed.
30 base damage and faster as anything early game aside the night's edge/muramasa.
