The fact that he forgot about it means the developers would have actually coded that in to scare the players inti listening the dialogue they spent 5 hours writing

I am actually one of those guys who actually listens to the dialogue, and gets invested in the story. The issue that I have, is that my friends all don;t care about it at all, and just skip everything, trying to speed run their way to the top, and fight other players.

I always get left behind because of this, and then I have to skip in order to be able to play with them.I rarely get to catch up, because by the time I get there, they have already moved on to another game. I just end up being left alone somewhere in the story, and that is if I don't already get burnt out by fighting endless monsters, and gathering because I skipped everything else.

Right after "thank you, adventurer" he went on a little tangent about how brave the adventurer was, while the adventurer in question looked like he was about to wet himself in the original.
